House Residence offers two affordable options
for individuals on a limited income.
Cooperative
Living Program:
Residents who choose to lower the cost of their monthly
rent may take advantage of the Cooperative Living
Program. Residents share a spacious two bedroom apartment.
All other services and amenities are available.
Group
Adult Foster Care (GAFC): This plan offers
additional subsidies for shared living through Social
Security and Medicaid. Applicants must qualify financially
and medically for this type of support. Qualification
guidelines are available upon request.
In
both the Cooperative Living Program and the Group Adult
Foster Care (GAFC), each two bedroom apartment includes
the following amenities:
Fully applianced kitchen with separate dining area
Individually controlled heat & air conditioning
Large living room with balcony
Hook-up for washer and dryer are available
if desired
Full bathroom with tub and walk-in shower
Wall to wall carpeting in living room and
bedrooms
Window shades and sheer curtains
Weekly housekeeping Weekly bed and linen
service
Home cooked noon-time meal in the dining
room (GAFC program includes three meals daily)
